There are 2 + and 2 - outputs on the sub. Wire the positive together and the negatives together. Then take a cable from one negative to the negative on the amp and from one positive on the sub to the positive on the amp.
There are a few other parameters that change depending on the 'load' an amp sees.....
As far as output quality goes, a 4ohm load would be better than a 2ohm load, the difference isn't as great as say using different classes of amp, (class AB is way better than class D), but there is a difference....
To be fair, most people wouldn't be able to distinguish between a 2ohm sub & a 4ohm sub quality wise, but a fair few would be able to tell the different amp classes apart.....
