Apparently the gold heat reflective tape can produce real drops in IAT though, I’m anxious to try wrapping my turbo intake pipe to see whether it makes much of a difference. I did see a claim of 12 degrees cooler the other day.
I did a track day in the impreza in 30 deg heat, it was so so laggy and felt slow, not helped by the fact i have a TMIC.
But then this has a after market TM and makes 500hp with it, the core in this mount is F1 tech but cost £2k

Does it involve taking the rad and condenser out at the same time like some other VAG stuff? Bit of an arse ache.

The S3 IC used alloy ends so you can use proper clamps.
