Sump nut and washer

  Bumder With A Buffer
Going to an oil change on Friday whilst fitting my cookies... Do sump nut/bolt and washer need to be changed too??? Also chances of me getting this from my local motor factors?

  Evo 6, E92 320d
Nut can be re-used, washer needs to be changed, halfords sell them for £1, but believe that Renault are cheaper!

  Astra 1.9Cdti SRi
iv never changed a washer on a sump just bolt it back :) if i get a oil leak then il change it untill then it stays

  1.5 Clio Dynamique
renault are 27p last time i went

best to change it now while the bolts out will save any draining down and refilling of oil just for one poxy washer

Oh well il ring bristos tomorrow and collect one when I go to get my brake pads from business post then I reckon!

as above, the parts dude at Renault usually just chucks a washer in the box FOC when I buy a filter.

The astra I have atm has a rubber o-ring rather than a copper crush washer which unless its ripped or torn it doesnt need replacing I can kinda see why you should replace a crush washer but ive never needed too :)

pretty damn sure it is the same yes, i remember for 100% that it has the same fitting as the engine oil (8mm square)

Cant remember how much mine was individually but the washer and oil filter together cost me around £9 from Renault.
