Sunday run to the Buttertubs....that wasnt.

Set off out for a run to the Buttertubs Pass today, and after a hundred or so miles, was faced with this at the start of the road:

Wasnt too miffed though as the road from Settle to Hawes past the ribblehead viaduct is amazing!

Took these with my phone so the quality isnt great.

I love driving up there, I just hate having to get there on the m/way/through bradford or keighley which means I dont go up as much as i'd like

Seeing your pictures yesterday made me go up today.

Never done the road from Settle to Ribblehead in the day before, and have to say i completely agree.

I was there around 2/3pm but it was still damn near deserted, fantastic stuff.

Yeah, I like the fact you can see well down the road so you can take the more 'racing' lines!

Ha! I have to admit i was rather straightlining some of the bends when i was pressing on a bit more!

The pictures were taken on my n900 by the way, using the HDR app. Its huge but i love my nokia.
