A few shots from a brilliantly organised day at Castle Combe yesterday. Basically, show up, hand over £20 or £40 (depending on car) and get 5 laps passenger ride.
It's fair to say everyone was loving it, the biggest shock to most being the braking power of race cars, and how committed the drivers were in appalling conditions.
In particular, massive kudos to the Ferrari 250 Lusso driver, who threw his obscenely expensive piece of classic metal around the track all day long with frightening commitment. When I arrived I assumed it would potter around track all day, but he was really, really on it. And as always, the Dreadnought MG ZT520 was just insane, incredible driving talent.
