Don't waste your money mate. Its sluggish because its a 1.2, it's not meant to be fast, it's meant to be economical.
Best bet if you want it to be more responsive would be to rip the back seats+spare and strip it out as much as you can afford it. Weight has a big bearing on cars with low torque...oh and stick some smaller smaller wheels on it
