Superchip

Tell them. From now on insuracne companies will check any suspect ecu especially ones owned by young drivers, turbo owners or modified car owners.

It will take an insurance guy a few seconds with a laptop to tell its been chiped and youll end up in a real problem all for the matter for a few £

They sometimes arnt bothered. Sometimes however they charge you a % incrased ie 50% power increase = 50% more premium

Each to there own about telling them but Ill just say that look at conner on this forum if your thinking about doing this they will look at your ecu if they think youve chipped it and invalidate your insurance.

And the Revo or any other company software maybe switchable etc but it can be and will be found in seconds. Insurance companies can look in the what should be blank bits of the ecu and if theres coding there they will invalidate your insurance as they know what it is.
