Superchips

After reading thro EVO on Monday (Good to see the Willy 1 being realised as one of the top 10 drivers cars of the last 10 years) I had a look at the ABP advert in the back.

It says you can get the CUP ECU remapped giving the usual benifits without it being detectable to insurance companies or dealers diagnostic kit!

Can anyone confirm this? Has anyone had it done and had the car serviced etc?

Thanks in advance

Simon

i had my cup chipped by them in dec. it certainly feels a bit more lively, especially at lower revs.

as for not being traceable i am not sure and i have not had a service since.

i had it on a rr the next day and got 153 at the wheels which is around 183ish at the fly :)

Its not invisiable to dealers they can easily look and see the software. They dont look though. As for it being invisible to insurance companies well they can tell in a few second when they do a dignostics check they will be doing more and more of these on cars now when claims are made. (heard for an insurance investigator).

Not telling your insurance company is stupid you pay a fortune for insuracne and then more money for the mods then invalidate your insurance so why are you bothering getting a worthless invalid piece of paper?
