Supersprint exhaust system??

  Rb 182
Just been looking for an exhaust system for my 182, I'm probs goin to see if I can get a yozza :) but was wondering if anyone has feedback/picture/ video of the full kam racing super sprint exhaust cheers guys

Sadly I don't have one and I haven't a car scheduled for fitting the system soon.
I guess the sound is similar to the 172 with the supersprint exhaust, but there will be differencies due to t
I can tell you is pretty quiet with the centre silenced section as it's homologated and it's close to the db level of the stock system.
With the sports cat it gets louder but still pretty quiet for Clio RS standards.

Its not popular as we have not sold any yet. Its rather new and has only been on our site 24hrs. I have been testing the Supersprint stealth cat back for a week and am happy with the results so far. Will be testing the db levels early next week before fitting the decat and getting some rolling road testing done. Some videos too as we will test as it would be done at a circuit trackday event and it would be rude not to get a fly by!
Its basically the race system but with a proper stealth box that is invisible. Its tucked up high. I am running the mid silencer and its boomier than standard due to the large bore but not loud. People dont seem to turn round too much as I'm passing and the missus says it sounds good when shes a passenger so all good signs! Even with the cat it tries to pop a little but its subtle. Even the twin cat looks restrictive so cannot wait to get that off.

some other pictures. Was going to fit this at the workshop but the standard one fell off so I had to drive up a path and fit it outside my house. :D Shite pics as it was getting dark.

I do realise I've posted about the wrong exhaust....
Back to school for me...

The 182 supersprint exhaust system we are about to look at to see what we can do to make it a little more palatable price wise. Its the backbox which is the killer money wise. We will see if another design can be cheaper, maybe twin boxes rather than a large and more complicated single one.

Lol it's kl man, I'm sure they don't sound to different?? The price is abit high bit I don't mind if it's worth it :D

m8 if i was buying another exhaust mine would be a supersprint 110% with a decat to, Markus's vid of his supersprint is unreal it sounds perfect,

tbh i'm gonna start saving up for 1 myself, i watch his vid all the time, it just makes me want 1 even more,

i do have my laptop connected up to my 5.1 so it all ways makes me smile, .

Is there a link so I can watch the vid??

Will it pop n bang as muc as my Supersprint did on my Saxo??

N yea I will do thanks

The clio doesn't "pop n bang" much, the engine is not tuned for that (ignition timing, cams etc)...

I'm fitting the 172 Supersprint this Saturday morning or next week too, so you'll have a few videos from me too.

I'm very curious about the sound and I'll probably put the car on our MAHA dyno to have real figures, but I don't have a stock exhaust to compare it with. Plus I'm fitting it with a sports cat and 182 manifold.

The 182 system is costly, I agree, the design is more complicated than other systems, with the separetd endpipes, the Y pipe inside the transversal box...it's been designed that way to match the homologation noise levels (E1) ,but for the UK market maybe we could make a different one as we have just done with the 172?

We will get on it soon. Now we are the UK distributor we are looking at the ranges we sell to make them more affordable and also suit todays trends.

someone has make any video os this exhaust supersprint stealth? i´m interested in this exhaust but i want listen it sound before.

I have the only one fitted to a clio in the UK. Been bedding it in the last few weeks. Will be making videos once our move is complete. Better roads for filming there too...

Mine was fitted with a sports cat and the 182 manifold but it was too loud, so I didn't take any videos because they wouldn't be representative of the sound of the catback by itself. You will have to wait for Kam Racing to post their videos.
I have another guy here in Italy who had it fitted with the stock manifold and cat, I've asked him if he can make a small video for us.

Now I've got the 63.5mm silenced centre section with a prototype rear stealth exhaust with 54mm piping, I think the car has lost a bit at high revs but it's MUCH quieter, more so than how it was before with the k-tec mild steel superstealth.
We thought about making a different centre section with a bigger silencer but it wasn't working and there was too little ground clearance.
Plus, in terms of gas dynamics, it makes more sense e to have a smaller pipe at the end of the exhaust line than in the middle, as the gas cool down it becomes denser and slows down, so with a smaller bore you can compensate the exit speed.
Mind that my car is a daily driver, for trackdays and as a weekend toy it would be even too quiet!

We can always do a stealth stealth :D
