Surprised by Admiral!

Pleasantly suprised when I added my Stainless Steel exhaust to my policy.

Only cost me £37 to run til end of policy (End of May)

When it costs so little (compared to price of exhaust) Im always amazed when people dont declare mods.

I agree, always declare mine, although you know that with Admiral, if you have a smash they will replace the parts with standard parts..

Yep, which is daft seeing as the standard reno zorst is more expensive than the aftermarket ones.

looks like im going with admiral at moment

renewal time on 27th, hic so far have come nowhere near so need 2 improve by £200 if they wana keep me

admiral are looking gd so far though, although i cant declare my tints with them as they dont accept them :-(

Im with Admiral and they were pretty good apart from failing to mention that the £750 stereo cover was only 15% of the vehicles value.

So even on a £3k valver (which theyd never pay out) theyd only pay you £450 tops for a stereo etc...

if you read the terms and conditions, the stereo cover does say £750 or 15% of vehicle value whichever is less.

the most I could claim on my ICE would be £750 (15% of car value £5000 and max limit) even though its worth over £1k

Yeah Im 18 with a years no claims, I shoped around for a valver and I got £2000 tptf mostly or someone gave me £1600 but they wouldnt let me modifiy it as I was 18. On the off chance I rang admiral and they quoted me........

£1178 for a valver tptf with a exhaust system and alloys!!!!

Bargain, I was well chuffed. I know they aint gonna be great with mods but most insurance companys would insure me with any mods!!! As I was 18!!!
