Suspension change

Hi I have just purchased an 04 reg 182 no cup packs and would like to change the suspension to the cup set up is this case of just changing like for like .

You'll be needing cup hubs then with 60mm spacing, and to be honest it's not worth the cost and effort.

I never had to do it in the end (turned out I had cup packs) but I was looking to get 172 cup shocks on with Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

There were a few threads about it if you search, one being:

The eibach pro-kit / sportline tend to be the way people go - cheaper than cup suspension. I've been impressed so far on road and track.

172 cup shocks will fit.
182 cup won't

The cup springs are silly prices. Be better off using eibatch pro or sportline if you want a bit lower

What would you recommend as a good replacement for the springs and shocks .

Have gone for standard shocks eibach sportline springs new strut top mounts , disks and pads and speedline 675 wheels with Michelin pilot sport 3 tyres .

what i have on my car (non cup like yours) is
Eibach pro spring
172 cup front shocks
182 cup rear shock
Eibach camber bolts

Im really happy with this set up.
