suspension help!

hey chaps, got a bit of a problem.

Lifted the bonnet to find that both suspension top things are loose. The left appeared slanted / with a gap of almost 7mm. Then i turned the stearing wheel BOTH turned clockwise and anticlockwise. There was abit of oily,greasy residue on top of the right suspension nut. Plus i hear a squeek turning left.

any ideas of what to do? Is it just a straight forward tightening job.?

iirc theyre meant to have play in them because the suspension shock angle changes as you turn the wheel? im sure someone will confirm...

Correct.

Its normal

Wont hurt to check your nuts tho just for your own piece of mind
