Suspension Repair Question

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a suspension repair for my car and need some advice. I’ve noticed a rough ride recently and after some inspection,

I suspect the shock absorbers are worn out. I’ve already checked the bushings and control arms, and everything seems fine there.

My question is: should I replace the shock absorbers as a pair (front or rear) or can I replace just one if it’s the only one showing signs of wear?

Also, any tips on signs that might indicate other suspension components need attention would be appreciated!

I'd replace in pairs personally - they aren't expensive.

I tend to replace things in pairs but have occasionally done a single if i've had a cash shortage just to get the car back on the road.
