Swapped wheels, tracking worse :(

It's booked in to get the tracking done a week Thursday but thought I'd swap the wheels over for laughs and giggles. The steering wheel wasn't straight before, angled slightly to the left, since swapping the wheels for back to front it's gone noticeably worse, any ideas?

How would balancing affect the steering wheel being noticeably more to the left though?

Pressures most likely, unless your wheels have different offsets. Like a BMW. Because racecar

Checked pressures last week and they were fine. Tbh I might just swap them back over tomo

Yeah will go to work early and sort it. Getting right on my nerves now :(. You know of any decent places in the northwest that does tracking lol

nah afraid not mate, I always do me own as I have access to equipment. Good luck with getting it all sorted.

Thing is with these clios most are other 10 years old now so bushes an balljoints are all getting tired. First thing I've done on all of mine is a good old refresh an alignment, helps keep them fresh.

Good shout. I put 33 in the front and 30 in the rear, so now that's the reverse thirty at the front.

Not saying that's the answer mate but it is easy to overlook the obvious things. But if the fronts are a bit low then it could tramline etc. so feel like the tracking is out when it's not. Just changing the wheels round couldn't affect your tracking unless you lined them up with a sledgehammer lol.

No hammer was used in the operation lol. Will check tomo. Is it worth swapping the tyres back, or just check the pressures?

Worth checking that the track rod ends arn't worn, if they haven't been replaced recently?

After several large potholes being hit over the last month I've seen an increase in tramlining and my steering wheel now seems slightly offset. This morning I have checked for play and my nearside track rod end is pretty bad - the side that has been taking the worst of the potholes! Was perfect last time I had it on the ramps just 5 weeks ago!
