Swapping hubs?

Car  133, 182, Kangoo 182
If I were to get hubs and discs from say a 2004 1.2 16v would they fit onto a 1999 1.2 8v?

Little project I want :)

Hubs would fit no probs but you'll need the front struts as well. A 1999 1.2 16v will have a 52mm bolt spacing and a strut bracket width of 23mm and a 2004 1.2 8v will have a 58mm bolt spacing and a strut bracket width of 27mm. So you'll need the lot

Great that's what I wanted to hear :) I would have coilovers with 58mm boltspacing to go on with the new hubs too.

Just a little bump as I'd like more confirmation this can be done before I go and get all the parts required.

are you 100% about this fred??

taking hubs from a 1.4 16v ph2 (58mm)

they would go on a 1.2 8v ph1 (52mm) and the only thing that wouldnt line up, is the bolt spacing??

would also like 100% confimation on this.

edit: also i want to put them on a clio without abs?? would this pose a problem being that a 1.4 ph2 would have abs or can i retain the origional calipers??

sorry to go on,

but will the 1.2 8v brakes go on the larger hubs??

or will i need brakes from a 16v clio also??

thanks

are all the subs with 58mm spacing the same??

and are the callipers the same through the 1.2,1.4,1.6 range??

yup to both??

would have thought the 1.6's would have much bigger callipers than the 1.2's :S

schweet,

got some hubs on the way, ill look into get some callipers wednesday :D

bigger brakes and raceland coilies will work out cheaper than Vmax :D
