Sync iPhone photo album to MacBook?

I need to sync a photo album created on my iPhone to my MacBook, does anyone have any suggestions?

Use image capture (search for it in spotlight) or iPhoto.

Or use iTunes to sync it to iPhoto automatically.

I need to transfer the album, iPhoto and image capture doesn't let me do this.

Wouldn't syncing via iTunes sync from iphoto to the iPhone, therefore delete the photos on the phone?

Also doesn't sync albums, only the photo stream.

Sweet iCloud.

Yesterday I took a photograph on my iPad, went on my Macbook and it wasnt there. Switched on Photostream on iPhoto and everything appeared instantly. Jacka-naka-nory.
