Now im almost 100% sure that my cam cover is leaking oil but looking through the parts catalogue there does not seem to be a seal for the cam cover and i have made a list of everything i think i need. . . . Is there anything more or less ?

correct.... there is no rocker cover gasket. The best stuff to use to seal this is wellseal, i also use it on the k-series rover engine, as that doesnt have any gasket on the cam carrier.

Im going to respond to your question with a question ... Where do you get parts diagrams like that from? Sorry for going slightly off topic

And we just did a Megane cam change at work. Just used gasket maker as there was no gasket when we removed it ....All fine.

I used to work in the car industry and i was given a user name & password for HERE and its the same system that renault use.

It does any renault and gives you all information you need so i can look up all my car parts and part numbers and see how expensive things are before i buy them

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
Mark, that timing belt price is wrong by £25 (should be £125.01+vat, which is already massively over priced)

put in a 172 cup reg number, and you'll be given a motrio alternative offer option. This is an SKF made cambelt kit which has the same warranty as a renault boxed kit

Is it possible to get login details for this evening if not in the industry? Would save me pestering my dealer all the time :)

My login details dont change so if i was to hand them out people could go into the settings and mess things up and hand the password and user name to everyone so i dont hand it out at all.
If people want me to look up part numbers and prices as well as diagrams all they need to do is PM a reg for the car.

Timing belt kit was taken off an old invoice from when the car had the cam box seal done in 2005 with 2000 miles on the clock under warranty.
I am just going to buy everything from the main dealer and then i A) know its right & B) know that it aint cheap rubbish.
