Taking the back off a wing mirror

Need to take the back off my clio drivers side wing mirror to strip and respray it.

Any easy way of doin this? Had a quick go but bugered if I can do it!

mine fell off recently while i was driving along.

to remove:

grip cover and PULL. its just held on my a couple of clips

turn the mirror in towards the door a little then pull.

You guys must have some special talent, I just can't get a good grip on it! This is well annoying now

turn it in and pop it with a screwdriver

There is a little hole on the underside of the wing mirror that allows you to get a screwdriver in and pop it off.
