How do you change the headlights on a 172/182 for driving in Europe?

You dont.

Renault told me that they would perform a high complex procedure and drive the car upto a wall, see where the beam went and tape it accordingly (yours for £37 + vat, sir).

Just go to halfords if the above is to complicated and buy those headlight adapters stickers. lol

i didn't change mine.. just didn't drive about in the dark...

I don't think that would be an option, I fancy heading down through france to Italy and it's bound to get dark at some point!
