TCE Engine modifications

I've just (Saturday) started my next motoring chapter with my brand spanking new Clio 1.2 TCE Dynamique SX. How easy, or even possible, is it to fit a dump valve. Do they make any parts for these yet as I haven't seen any really.

Would also like an induction kit. Are dump valves vehicle specific or universal, and further to this are they even a good idea or considered "Chav" etc?

Waste of time as the boost those cars run is so low it will be barely audible. Also pretty chav on a car like that imo.

Personally I wouldnt even be thinking about engine mods yet! Get some decent mileage on the car first and then consider mods later, but remember what ever you modify will void the warranty for anything on the car that it can directly have an affect on. eg. lowering springs voids warranty on everything connected to the suspension.

remove the air box and put an IK on there, then remove the recirc valve and get it compressor surging away

with the right money spent on it, it could be! look at the R5's uno turbo's etc its the actual cars weight thats the issue with these new mk3's!

In reply to TomTom's comment, I'm not trying to make it "fast", I'm fully aware of what it is and what its capabilities are. I asked simply if there were any parts available, like induction kits and the like. I like the noise that's all.

Some of us can't afford to insure the bigger engined vehicles so this is all I can afford at this time, and I'm very happy with it.

not really, but doesnt need replacing.

u can always just disconect the pipe from the factory dump valve and block of the whole in the induction kit and therefor you get the sound of the dump valve going to atmosphere. it does work cus ive tried it on my sx lol. but id recomend removing the rubber pipe between the dump valve and the air box compelty other wise its at risk of falling off possibly and then ull be buggered lol... enjoy lol...
