So last weekend Myself, @Fletcher and @TimR26 visited the Ring, The other two had been twice before but for me it was my first time. Very enjoyable time was had by all, no major problems to report of other than Fletcher's suspected misfire and Tim's exhaust hanger snapping off. The whole place is amazing and everyone should try it at some point. I cant wait to get the Petrol Blue there and get some laps under my belt.
So Friday morning i met up with Fletcher and drove up to Tim's to catch the Euro Tunnel.
After a quick blast through France we were in to Belgium. Tim's Recaro's are so comfy i slept the majority of the trip We stopped for Fuel and a quick bite to eat then headed into Germany.
Had a slight tickle on the Autobahn We did get up to about 155 at one point !!!
We came in a different way than the other guys have normally come in and took some epic road in to Adenau through some tunnels. No pictures sadly
Once we had got our self's set up we headed off the the track to buy some laps and get two in before it closed on the Friday night. Also spent a bit of time looking around the car park.
Saturday morning we had a slight bit of Snow and a fair amount of rain. We headed to the Devils Dinner for breakfast after doing a lap with all 3 of us in Tim's Megane in the rain !!! Got some more laps in and then got back to the house where i took some more photos of the two cars.
Ended up in Pinocchio that night where i demolished one of the Pizzas. Regretted it the next day Woke up Sunday morning to this !
We decided to check out the museum as track conditions were pretty dismal.
After a bit to eat we decided we should try and find somewhere that could fix Tim's Exhaust mount. Tried RSR but they were busy so popped over to Rent 4 Ring. Most of there Swifts were there also there 135. The chap there had it all welded up and sorted within 5 mins
After that me and Fletch headed off to watch some action down at the track when all of a sudden Tim comes flying round
Spent the rest of the day chilling out and then heading off to Pistenklaus for some epic steak. We left fairly early Monday morning. Another sleepy journey to the euro tunnel then back home.
Here are a couple of Videos i took in both the cars
