Temp Gauge Playing up!! :(

Don't know if anyone can help me here, i have a 182 in black on a 54 reg.

I have noticed recently that it takes a little longer than usual to get Hot, and also, I could be driving along and the temp gauge moves up and down, as if its not functioning correctly??

Don't know if anyone has any ideas on this one, but would be a great help if someone could shed some light on it, if know how to repair??

its winter now fella,,

mine has started to do the same(1.2) took me 20min to get to work and it didnt reach halfway, as its soo cold,

dont kno about the temp moving tho soz

water coolent sensor.

£20 from renault

located on the front right hand of the block, bolts in with a 18mm socket.

fault temp sensor, mine used to go up and down randomly all the time. Had it replaced at renault under warrenty so dont know how much they charge.

yeh new temp sensor but you will have to change the loom asell as theyve change the plug on it aswell
