Temp sensor in drivers mirror

My sensor needs changing so popped out the passenger side mirror. The little nipple is there but no wires are attached. So I popped out the drivers side and there's a nipple there plus a couple of wires. Anyone know whats going on here? Is it normal to have two nipples (ha)? Has anyone heard of the sensor being on the drivers side?

mines on the drivers side aswell. the passenger side is just a blank.

need to change mine aswell, friggin thing has died

yeah, one will be a blank. depending on which side it was placed on your car, only one with have wires running from it?

Probably did it due to how unreliable they are so you always have a spare!

could be. mines died, but i dont think they actaully are accurate anyway so why bother... lol

Mine was accurate, then after this freezing weather its now ready about 20 over!

went from 15 to 60c and then died
