temporary insurance?

Hey just wondering were i can get temporary insurance as im only 18?

And another thing, im on my mums insuance as a namesd driver, and im hopefuilly going to pick upi a car on friday.
can i add the car to my mums policy before hand so i can drive it back?

there is no temp insurance as i had same problem when i was 18, i went with norwhich union and put my mum as main driver on my new car, only to find neext day all drivers on policey had to be over 21, i was gutted, same with most temp companys i think

yea think im just going to get my mum to change the car from my clio to the new car as im only a named driver
