Temporary Modified Insurance

I am in need of getting somebody else insured on my car for 10 days this month. Phoned up Brentacre but they're unable to put my friend on for 10 days, only till the end of the year. Almost an extra £300.

Anybody have any ideas and avenues that we can look at to getting my car insured with him for as cheap as poss?

Can he not just drive it 3rd party on his own policy?

Doesn't have that on his policy. I've asked him to see if he can get my car added temporarily but just waiting to hear back (from him).

Just wondering if theres any other avenues we can look at?

Who are you insured with?

Bell/Admiral always let me add other cars to my policy when I need to drive them.

Ah I read that wrong. Read it as you can get 3rd party when you're 21.

I've done temp stuff with admiral and bell when I was 18/19/20.

Yep, non of our underwriters do iirc. Shame as we're generally happy to quote for 18-69 now.
