Terrible brake fade on a 182, help!

  K20 EG Hatch
I was giving the 182 some the other night and after a few islands my brakes were so bad, the fade was unbelievable.
Now I have only recently replaced my dead front and rear pads and with halfords being the only local place that had some went for there own pads for about £40 all round.
Should just replacing my front pads with some decent ones sort it out? And what should i go for? I dont want to spend silly money as it dont get that much abuse (honest) and i dont want brake dust eating my wheels (mind you they get washed thoroughly twice a week).

Thanks

HAHAHAHAHHAH Halfords pads!!!

You might aswell hang your feet out the car mate Flintstone style. To answer your question though yes replacing the fronts would make a huge difference. Get some OE pads or some EBC Greenstuff v2

People love to splash cash on going quicker, while braking is soooooo overlooked. Get some good pads mate.

hmmm.... how stupid of me lol.
I have been using silkolene pro s in the engine :)
So some original pads should sort me out? How much are they likely to be?

Ahem...

...my last 'ring trip was rather interesting (Halfords Pads).

Did I ever mention that they don't do emergency stops? :S

I found Halfords pads to be fine when i used them, it was my brake lines that needed bleeding to sort the fade..
