just got the 182 and was told it had a thatcham alarm on it which is ment to rapidly reduce ur insurance?? what is a thacham alarm and is this true? whats special about them!?

It tends not to do jack all to insurance. Thatcham refers to the fact its set to thatcham standards. Just google it tbh

its just a standard alarm and the answer is no it doesn't do bugger all to the insurance well it didn't on mine anyway.

Its classed as standard so insurance quotes take this into account so no extra discount.
