Driving home late the last week I had to swerve to avoid someone on my side. Needless to say my lovely (but unreliable) valver is no more and I am on the bike to work! Thanks to everyone who has given me advice over the past year, maybe see you all again soon! (Please excuse the wheels, I didnt want the insurance company to play with my new ones so took them off!)

By the way, I wasnt driving like an idiot as I learned from my mistake a couple of years ago - see bottom pic of AX GT

Couldnt get an ID of the car that was on my side as I was coming out of a chicane at 3.30am Not too bothered as long as my insurance pays out!

With the AX I was pulling in after overtaking and something pulled out of a side road ahead of me causing me to swerve, go through a 180 spin (thankfully!) and park in a tree on the other side of the road facing the other way.

Remarkably I was completely unhurt both times but was only TPFT on the AX so no claim.

I was always a careful driver before but I have completely changed the way I drive and hardly ever overtake unless absolutely certain it is safe and every time I get in to a car I imagine how I would feel if I had passengers on both those occasions.

No parts from Clio available as its now insurance property. Sorry. I do have 4 17" TSW Apex with very good Yokahama rubber though.....
