The beginning of a big bill!

Well after my car dying twice yesterday with the alarm/immobiliser fiasco and its final rev to 2,500 then death. I towed it to Renualt last night - I just got a phone call - "We dont know about your electrical problem yet sir because you need a new starter motor" We cant sort out your faulty electrics until you have a new one fitted (£195). So bascailly ive put my car in to get somthing bad sorted and they have found something else aswell - Cant get a new starter until next Thursday either.

My starter was £102.50 from Renault and I got £20 back when I took my old one in.. so it cost £82.50..

Williams one must be more expensive, or are they really charging £112.50 to fit it?

Daz.

Err you got the fitting bit correct - my problem is to get someone else to fit it I need to tow the thing from Renualt to someone else but will I really save much money?

yea I see your point. Id change it in their carpark myself - I changed mine, but it is on the front of a 1.2.. you can see it when you open the bonnet and have free access to it - Bet its a pain on the Williams!

Good luck in getting the car back on the road though mate!

Daz.

Cheers Daz - it wouldnt be so bad if I wasnt planning to pay off some debt this month but will be in even more!! Never mind thats life:D

but hey! At least you can bounce it off the redline when its back on the road - you forget about the debt and credit card bills then! :D
