FCS 2009 was a true Tour de Force. It knocked for six the more general custom shows that we’ve been to this year in both content and charisma. And we should all feel proud we were part of it. I knew when I joined the snaking queue to get in at 8am that it was going to be a good ‘un, and I sure wasn’t wrong.
Highlights for me, apart from the gorgeous sunny weather, were numerous. I loved the screaming black Mégane imitating a jet as it flew around the banked Rockingham circuit (watch it on YouTube), and the sheer quality of some of the cars on the trade displays like Simon Lane’s impressively prepped Indigo Blue 106 on the Streamline Carbon stand and the raft of cutting edge fast French metal parked with Pug Performance. You can see them all on our mahoosive seven page report.
So what did you think? Let me know your FCS experiences, good or bad at pfc.ed@kelseypb.co.uk
In the meantime, enjoy the issue...
