The Day The Clio Died



  850 T5. mmmm Turbo!
Last wednesday at about 11.30pm i approached this junction

to find my brakes had pretty much stopped working, so i ended here

where my car spilt all its oil due to this, still visible !!!

took me the weekend to sort it, i blame these

sump and oil pump were £80 ish, + £20 for the local mechanic to come and help me get the engine out.

£40 for new disks and pads.



oh well at least im not the only one eh!

That does look nasty, so long as you are ok though as cars can be fixed. :D

i used an engine hoist to move the engine as far as possible without removing the drive shafts or exhaust.


it seemed like the most obvious thing to me at the time!

Fair play mate, i had mine at work on a 2 poster so was not to bad to do that way.
