I still think the top 3 Vee colours are

lunar grey - its just unreal and has so many subtle tones in it, pity there was only 4 sold
mars red - bit biased there
liquid yellow - just such an awesome colour

The problem with Lunar grey was when they launched the car and it was first at the motor show the lighting on the car made it look like it was in primer. With all the prospective customers that Renault had invited along seeing that it did kind of take the edge off Lunar Grey.

I remember this! FCS 2005/6? At Rockingham. I was there in my lowly Arctic 182, drooling over these, and the BG v6 that was there at the same time. Fortunately the stripes are a thing of the past....

Haha.. yeah, that was the first thing I checked when he mentioned the number.. lol Its plausible! The guy seems genuine enough, and to make such bogus claims he'd need access to the register.

Almost in agreement with you there Colin.. but for me, i'd have to swap your Liquid Yellow for Acid.. and always have a place for a Black Gold

That said.. if there were ever two signature colours for the v6 255, they without doubt be Illiad Blue and Liquid Yellow..

Was the Acid in your ownership in the pic, or Peter Nicholson or AC Williams? I remember thinking at the time, the stripes spoilt the look of Carls car.. but each to their own eh!

Why would people buy these car's and then hardly drive them?! I know it's nice to have a minter, believe me. But it'd be such a shame. I'm anal trying to keep the Flamer clean but the other night it was filthy due to weather - i was driving down a back lane and decided to give it some poke. Loved it. Wish I was in the fortunate position to have ordered a new Vee when they came out, the lunar looks immense there at that motor show,

Bronze looks very classy with the full leather interior, wonder where the motorshow cars are now?!
