I've dug out some older shots and decided to process them, im quite pleased i didnt just bin these!
This one was quite noisey which is a shame, ISO:1250
This has only been reported in the country three times this year so i was pleased to be one of the few to get a photo of it.

Not really, no. Some bridge cameras will produce brilliant results I have a friend who uses a fujifilm with 12x optical zoom and he can get some very detailed photos although I Can still see an edge of the DSLR + lenses vs bridge camera with one lens.
Also prime lenses help towards the quality of the image alot something which you dont get on a bridge camera.
in a cathedral in Malta (forget which one now lol!)
can't quite see it but there are actually human bones behind the wire grating at the base.
Thanks mate. I have a canon powershot sx200 with 12 x optical zoom but was struggling with aperture and depth of field. I've now discovered that aperture priority only really works when I use manual focus so will see how that goes for me.
^^
Love Lake Bled, the best place i've ever been. So quiet and peaceful and stunning scenery. Nice pics
I think the pictures you took in longbridge deserve a punt on here Derelict
Derelict, i recognise your profile avatar, was that in mini magazine a while back?? Was it you that took those photos?
I love that. On my way to flickr to fave it.
They are a bit old don't you think?
