Here are some of Hadrian's Wall, most are between 3-5 minutes in the hours between 11:30pm - 1:30am.

1. The fluffy ghost in the middle is a sheep going for a wander.

It's always worth putting a watermark in the middle of a shot (even if it is virtually unreadable), this will help stop people lifting the image and using it elsewhere, especially in reportage images.

I'm just going to search over the coming days and send a copyright infringment email to anybody that does steal them.... the good that will do!

Some media shots I've just done after spotting a massive black cloud behind our house. 3000 views on flickr in 30 minutes and loads of people who want to have the photos for their website etc. Oddly, nobody wants to pay. I don't know how people make a living out of journo photos. Not something I'm going to bother with anyway!

In this day and age, people just want things for free. That's why i think it's so hard to make money in photojournalism

Cracking pictures though!

I recently sold an image taken in Scotland of an old building that happens to be on a popular walking route.

AA Publishing got in touch and asked to use it in a coffee table book and digital download version, to be printed worldwide and they also wanted rights for subsequent editions.

For 1 image, that I still own rights and copyright to, I got £265.00

The pic..

This thread keeps on getting better. Nice fire captures Andy, not surprised to hear that nobody wants to pay. Someone contacted me a while ago to ask to use some of my military photos in a book....after providing a very reasonable quote I got a very quick "No thanks..."!

Here's one from this afternoon. First time I have stuck my Sigma 10-20mm on my 7D, and probably first time I've used my 10-20mm for a year or so - shame.

Love the pics at the top by Derelict. Awesome photos!!!

Heres one I took t'other day of one of the rabbits (only got her a couple of weeks ago). Not a great photo, but I just love how she always has one paw in the bowl when she eats.

Some good shots there mate for a beginner. Keep at it, the guides in here are excellent and also read your camera manual. It will help loads.
