The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

  Mk2 ph1 clio
I did set up a custom white balance, its was a bit of trial and error cus tbh i didnt know what i was doing lol

I found that taking an exposure and using that image with the green cast as the custom white balance worked better than using a lower kelvin number... but the "auto colour" on photo shop worked a treat!

Scott, I like that but it looks a bit unrealistic to me. A mate of mine does lots of that type of shot, I think because I see them all the time (lots of copycats over here when they see this guys shots) that I am fed up with them now.

No way could I produce anything like that though.

Clean the bike, get rid of number and L plate or shop the no plate to white and black? reposition bike in clean snow. Otherwise it makes quite a nice shot with the black bike.

Scott that's your best yet IMO, lovely!

That is an amazing shot, Scott!

Cheers guys. I wouldn't say its my best or favourite mind.

The whole sea and rock, long exposure thing is overdone by togs but I can't help but like them:eek:

Cheers for the comment mate. I guess I can see where you say it looks unrealistic. It's all practice for me and most pictures these days are never a true reflection of whats in front of you. I'm just trying to add more strings to my bow.

I like it Liam, perhaps if the figures were both upright, maybe walking it would add more but the simplicity is lovely.

converse lol, all the best men had them too, each a different colour

I actually quite like that idea lol. I'm not a Converse person but it's quite a cool touch as i guess it's something personal for them. Screw tradition.
