The Journey Begins

Shes all packed (well nearly), TomToms loaded, and has got her headlight convertors on and GB sticker nicely placed ready for her jaunt across Europe

Was touch and go today seeing as we were booked on the Eurotunnel at 4pm tomorrow, but luckily managed to cancel for full refund and get booked on a P&O ferry from Dover at 3.15 which is good thank god!

So, tomorrow i go, picking up the other half and heading to Dover, then we've a hotel booked in Remes or something - shes arranged it lol. After that, its staying where ever the night falls. Only places we aim to go are Milan, Monaco and finally ending up in Barcelona. Everywhere else is a bonus.

Im sure ill return with plenty of photos, she'll be taking them of the scenery, ill be taking them of the car lol

Good luck operation stack is on atm. M20 is closed junctions 8-9 and the traffic is a fcuker around here.

I'd leave plenty of time to get to Dover.

Going Halifax in West Yorkshire to Dover, setting off at 6am and have to be there at 2.45pm. Obviously gonna be early but rather be there.

European breakdown has been purchased, i dont trust the Clio that much! Green card also aquired, so im fully comp in Europe. New brakes this week, tyre pressure done, and all under bonnet checks. Also got all the necasary items like bulb kit, warning triangle and yellow jacket.

Its wierd packing the car, like i dont need to cram everything into a case as i can just put it in the boot!

We're due back either next sunday or monday
