Overall really enjoyed owning it and im going to be sad to see it go
Had no end of trouble with it... head gasket... coil's... alternator but everytime I went of a spirited drive she put a smile back on my face

Cheers for looking :)

  Never above 25mpg
Would've gone for a Leon if I was heading down the Seat route!

Clio looks quite good as it was :)

really like the side on shot before the interior one looks lovely there, is that one 72 alloys there and then back to normal 15's in other pics?

clio looks really good

Why the change, do you just want something newer?

yeah few reasons
something bit newer
something to save money longer term
something hopefully a bit more reliable... sunk approx 2k into fixing her

Unfortunatley the wheels were a photoshop to see how they looked :)
everything else on it was how it seems though

Very well! Getting an Impreza in June, can't feckin wait :)!

Was thinking of these Ibizas actually but can't justify the cost at the moment, have you 'compared' it to a 1*2 yet on the straights? ;)

awesome lucky you! gotta do another meet when you get that then
I'd get absolutely wasted by a 1*2 on the straights its only a 1.4  haha
however in the "twisties" i'd........... still look daft

Perfect example as to why spacers can be dangerous!

Not really, as iirc the spacers werent fitted correctly in the first place, and they were delta mic spacers which are supplied with bolts made of butter.

So its more a perfect example of why things should be done properly or not at all.

Ohhhhhhh hang on... is it just the sport model then? If so my mum's got that one, still awesome to drive! Mine kept up with 182s in the twisties and in first and second gear (pulled away at higher revs in 2nd the b*****d) on straight. Surprising really! I thought you had the diesel FR one lol.

Its a 1.4 formula sport... special edition one I guess
Its nice to drive but if im honest I prefer the clio ... once I get used to it guess it will change though
I looked at the diesel FR's but I like to be able to rev :)

Those diesels fly! I was really impressed by the quality of the Ibiza, when I got back into my Clio it felt like I was driving a monster truck that was slowly falling to pieces.

Sad to see it go Paul, this is a big surprise, I thought you had big plans for it.

Best of luck with the new car.
