Right guys from reading posts on here etc i have decided the following for my car,

Brakes - Mine are sh*t so this is what is gonna happen, Buying some valver calipers etc from a scrappy these will fit straight on and improve performance? then get grooved disks and nice set off pads.

Wheels - Keepin it simple some very lightweight 15" or 14" white alloys probably 5 spokes , will be very cheap too.

Suspension - Uprated front shocks and 60mm apex springs

Engine - Current filter with replacement filter as these offer best gaines withou purchasing a closed filter?, not as loud but who cares, I can fit a Throttle body from a 2 litre megane SPI into my engine to give considerable horses ?

Weight - removing rear seats and front seats and replacing with 2 buckets, also removing rear tire.

and corrections if i have got something wrong, yeah its for a 1995 mk1 1.4 8 valve RT

Just buy a valver or Williams. You aint gonna give a 1.4 any worthwhile power or handling. Sad but true.

You will have a hard time driving that thing after you remove a rear tyre.

Wouldnt going silly modding a 1.4 put the insurance up to as much as a valver! Unless you dont tell em!
