I got the mega pliers from Lidl last week, great for the money.

The nutsert kit looks good too, assume sold out in ours as didnt see any.

Yeah they seem to have sold out in quite a few stores. I went to three and the last one only had two left so I bought them both. @Krarl has claimed the spare already once he saw the shiny case it comes in.

Was installing some network cable and had to run outdoors for a client
Decided conduit was best and bought this to make the bends nicer than the normal metal rod with ripples in it.

What a tool, makes such a difference for the look and shape of them.

Anyone bought a thermal camera, either a standalone thing or one that connects to your phone?

Wanting to get one for general checking of things around the house, drafty bits to see where the heat is potentially getting out.

@R3k1355 saw in this thread you’d picked one up, which did you go for, any good?

Looked at the hikmicro models but no idea which to go for (probably get used a few times then shoved in a cupboard 😂).

I ended up buying a TopDon TCView. Plugs into usb c and works nicely too.

A mate who does mapping loves all the TOPDON gear. Tempted by one of those cheaper readers.
Ive got a battery tester that was recommended by someone on here its around £30 and works great, just dont use it on 24v to check charging rate instead of grabbing a multimeter 🤦‍♂️

They're a decent jack and the coated wheels do help a lot with the noise.
I'm really impressed with it so far tbf, jacked my Megane up with ease.

Only issue was I didn't quite realise how heavy it was, it's just shy of 40kg! I looked like a right plonker heaving the box across the carpark when I picked it. I stupidly turned down the Halfords' man when he offered to help me move it. Bet he had a right laugh as I waddled across to my car :ROFLMAO:

That's why i got the 2T version.

I had the SGS 3T and that was 45kg.

The 2T Halfords is 34kg and it makes a huge difference 😅

Good jacks the halfords advanced. The alloy 2t one also weighs loads for what it is.

Loads safer than the small hobby jacks though.

Anyone use one of those turbo jet fan handheld blow job devices that are always being advertised on temu and the like?

Wouldn't mind something similiar that is decent, for dusting down the worktop and the like as I don't have a compressor.

They all seem too good to be true 😂 don't need anything super powerful really just something that won't break after one blow job

I got one ages ago for dusting my PC out, they're decent but nowhere near as good as a compressor

These are pretty good for just keeping under a work bench:

Near silent (very quiet at least), I've got a nice Jun-Air version and its perfect for blowing off stuff.

The head flew off my US Pro big ball peen hammer the other day so I need to replace it. My mates always had the MAC Antivibe ones but I'm not paying near on £120 including shipping and taxes for a f**king hammer

Is there anything else I should consider before buying this? Or can anyone get me a good kesh price on MAC tools?

Get yourself an oldskool mash hammer with wooden handle like i was using yesterday

In all seriousness i used a snap on 32oz deadblow ball pein hammer in a garage i was working in a while ago and it was leagues ahead of the old wooden ball penis.

Milwaukee 32oz might be worth a look? Looks very similar to the snap on one i used at half the price.
