The perfect exhaust system!?

  Italian 3.2 V6
i currently have a stealth exhaust on my 172. now i might look into buying a new better quality sounding and performance one. what do you guys recommend to look into. i would rather have a beautiful noise than performance tbh but dont want it chavy wat so ever. i just want an amazing deep puuur rumbly noise lol. am sure mini-valver has a nice sounding exhaust...

I think my GDI sounds quite nice. Much nicer than my ProSpeed anyway.

And it sounded like a f**king rally car or something with a decat lol

All as bad as each other tbh. My de catted Ktec stealth was the most raaaaaassspyiest campest limp wrist sounding exhaust ever. (Shudders) Best sounding one i had was a Miltek on the 182. But that fitted poor, really bad. The BTB i had fitted awesomely, but was a wee bit too loud on my sweet ears. In the end i gave up and decatted the standard systems. Done.

ive got a mk1 ktec stealth and i wouldnt change it tbh. Stainless, not restrictive and nice and subtle. There are very little gains to be had on near standard 172\182s from a 'performance exhaust'.

^and in the wrong size ;);)

to quote readyforthetrack.co.uk (yozza's website)

"At a couple of kilos more, our YozzaSport system was designed to produce as much power as possible, but still retaining the long life and high quality that people should expect. We tested a number of different bore pipes - 2.25" & 2.75" and they basically made no difference to the output power nor torque, so we stuck with the middle ground to keep the systems within noise limits."

RS192 is meant to be quiet. I've bought one, just waiting to fit it when weather picks up

If by chavy your meaning noisy, then the Yozza race system would be a bad idea for you lol

Rasp is mainly due to a decat. Fit a silenced one or stick with the stock cat and its not really a issue.

You'll be lucky to gain anything performance wise swaping like for like 2.5'' bore

Im happy with my OMP, however it is very loud and droney(sp) around 70mph....

Its a shame they've just stopped making them as they were very good quality and almost as good as the Supersprint for power gains but a bit lower on price
