Going from a Gigabyte geforce RTX 4070 OC to a 5080 worth it for £1000vsPerformance gain?

Has to be this one as I get some technology benefit from work that is limited to £1000 from Currys.

Are you at 4K or something? Otherwise I can't imagine the £ to performance gain is worth it. Even at 4K I'd probably want more than 16GB of VRAM

I looked at the 5080 and opted to wait for the 5080 super. Expected to be announced in Jan.

That would be ideal but would be over the £1000 budget, so looks like I'm tied to a standard 5080 or nothing

No, just running my Philips Envia 49", 5120x1440 I think.
