Not on the same scale as you guys, but I was annoyed enough when I decided to buy my new bits in January, as a few months before RAM was a lot cheaper.

In the end I didn’t upgrade to ddr5 and just reused my ddr4, and only went for a 5070, but even that’s up 50% on what I paid for it.

Some of the guys at work post up in a Slack channel with their crazy setups and some of them are still going nuts buying up GPUs and using them for AI related s**t.

I'm going to check in 45 mins and see what the deal is. I don't use my credit card very often at all so just wondered if it's a cc thing or maybe because it was delayed mi honestly have no idea, I probably accidentally used an old one with 3900000 Apr on it now or something haha

Haha. I've always played CS full widescreen to be fair. All my mates take the piss because obviously pros only use standard 27"

I'm Faceit level 9 and a few wins off 10 though

When you set yours up mate make sure you turn off HDR in windows. Looks so much better

I'm so disappointed, I have a bad one

I switched it on and all I can see is the darkness towards to the right when I'm on bright pages :/

Tried with hdr on and off. Pics really dull it down but it's proper noticeable

Someone on OCUK told me to check the build month on the box, what's yours?

Aren't they supposed to dim slightly at the edges to prevent burn in?

Yeah August as well.

Mine looks great to be fair, I would say I can notice very faint dimming at the ends, definitely only if I look hard though. Think I've just got lucky then, panel lottery etc

Mad isn't it! I thought it was just anti hype until it actually happened to me haha. Oh well it's not the end of the world and will get sorted I assume

To be fair, I can notice it a bit more now! Mine definitely does have some discolouration when moving something white to the side of the screen, mainly on the left. I didn't notice anything in a game though.

I've got that extended warranty so I might just plod on with it for 6 months and then maybe look into RMA as I assume they would have sorted all the quality control issues out by then.

Think I paid like £68, not sure if it extends the period, just covers extra things and you can get replacements quicker etc. The standard warranty is still 3 years which includes burn-in
