Update;
Right, after a lot of consideration I am going for the K4M lump 1.6 16v instead of the 2 litre F4R. Reasons for this being;
-If i went for the 2 litre engine I would want to go whole 9 yards. ITB's, possibly even turbo and this would cost a lot.In time i could afford it but I also have other things to think about such as a very special girlfriend, holidays etc. The 1.6 should turn out cheaper and I know there is limited reliable power available.
-Until i turn 21, I only want a quick car not something stupidly fast, so therefore the 1.6 should do me fine considering i was looking at VTR's. This gives me time to save till I turn 21 which is when i would like a Cooper S or something else German.
-I wanted to do this project over time. a lot of people advised me to do it all at once as all the hubs have to be changed etc. I can do the suspension, brakes etc on my car without too much hassle if i intend to put the 1.6 engine in later on.
So the plans are as follows;
New wheels and suspension at the end of the month;
Suspension;

Everything should be looking the way I want it then so it'll be time for the engine;
1.6 16v K4M
plans for the engine are; supersprint manifold, possibly BMC or another K&N, havnt decided on exhaust yet, either prospeed recessed or a stealth (custom), cat cams, RS tuning remap, see what angel works can do for inlet.
As for resale, I am sure not many people will be looking for a car like this so it wont sell. However my brother will have passed his test when I buy a new car; Clio goes to him...for a price
