I tried the Comma Air-Con cleaner from Halfords, and after almost choking to death when I went to kill the engine I thought everything would be rosy......apart from smelling like the working-end of a chemistry set.
After a days travelling...admittedly on a VERY hot day, the smell is back ,the air con is weedy and was struggling to stabilise at 19 degrees (outside ambient 27).
this wouldn't have worried it before.
So, Kwit fit for a re-gas, noprobs, but what's all this about he cabin filter too? I'd imagine if it's a bacterial thing, then leaving a smelly panel in a fresh breeze is just asking for trouble again?
so, how much will renault want for a panel filter and is it easy for me / Kwit fit to fit Kwikly?
