Well after months of being in the garage my brothers track car finally came home last night.Its still no where near finished but should be awsome when done.

Having trouble with the imobilaser anyway to sort it without plugging the loom back into the dash?

These are the fault codes that rs tuner found anyone know exaclty what they mean?

Canister purge you can forget about... that is the carbon canister, which will of been removed!

Front O2, lamba sensor for a guess?

Lol its the same as yours? Id check the lambdas, or have you a decat fitted? Think henk says once its cleared even with a decat is shouldnt come back on. The purge fault iirc is something to do with the carbon canister, check the the connections and stuff. I searched a while back when it came up on my car

Cheers, thought it must be the sensors.

I presume its decatted,my brothers gone out and i have no idea tbh.

It just fired up for a second but wont again,the immoboliser is flashing so i presume its that.

No this ones done from scrath,a green 1.4 ph1 to be exact.

Just checked and it only has manifold atm

The codes wont erase because they are present.

Still cant get it to fire up,any suggestions on resetting the immobiliser?

I take it will have a 172 engine in soon

yeh had it fired up a second ago but was the only time its every fired god knows how i did it.

Cheers,It has a 172 engine now just not running yet.

Ive managed to find a ph1 lock button which ive plugged in but cant remeber how to reset the immoboliser,ive tried holding the button down while key is turned and it beeps once but cant get it to beep twice.

still cant get it to fire up,what does the immobiliser stop just spark?Is there anywhere that can take it off the ECU all together?

have you got the 4 digit code then for the imob, why cant i see the ring around by the key barrel that plays a major part

Just get an Immobiliser emulator chris (£30ish), solder it onto the ecu (easy job) then flash the ECU with a map via RSTuner and when you turn the ingition after that it will work perfectly....Its how im running the 172 ecu in the Mk1.
