Just FYI Limbo is free on Gold at the moment. I just followed the E3 link on the home screen.
Liking the look of Titanfall 2!

Fair and valid points mate, although I have slightly different opinions on some of those things you highlight. I do think that the hardware specs played a big part in terms of the initial success of the PS4. Sure, there's no doubting the fact that the Kinect added a not-insignificant chunk to the price of the Xbox One, but I feel that Microsoft would have fared much better had they had the edge in the specs department. The somewhat amusing thing is that, in reality, the difference between the two consoles is actually not that great.I really don't think the hardware is the biggest factor, and it's also why I'm not convinced trying to out-power Sony is the answer to their problems. The majority of console gamers buy consoles because you buy them and they work, they don't get involved in PC because they can't be arsed with the hoo-ha - these people aren't interested in how floppy the console is etc.
<snip>
What could have been... so many Kinect developments dropped (or shelved) due to the fact that Microsoft decided to relax their decision and allow Kinect-less systems to be sold I agree with you - it's a great piece of hardware. It's just a shame that we're never likely to see the potential of it nor the novel games and applications that were being developed around it.Third - Kinect. Now, I personally love my Kinect, I used it every day - and now with Cortana (I have the preview beta) its *even better* - honestly, it works extremely well! BUT, people didnt like the first Kinect, so Kinect 2.0 was already tarnished by the 'bad' rep Kinect 1.0 had. The Kinect with Xbox One is actually a fantastic device, but hey we all have different tastes!
Easiest solution is to simply buy a 2TB USB3 portable hard drive for 50-60 quid and plug it in. Job done. And slightly quicker than the internal drive too This does the job perfectly for me...500gb not enough though. Im forever having to delete stuff on my launch day Xbox.
Out of interest, what do you use your Kinect for @DeeKay86 ? I have mine plugged in but never use it really, except maybe shouting Xbox pause a couple times a week!
Don't forget - the Xbox One S is set to be the cheapest 4K bluray player on the market too!So Scorpio and also likely Neo will need a 4K TV to see the benefit, I currently use a 1080p projector, so had a gander at 4K projectors, £5k+; damn.

Within, IIRC. I've downloaded The Crew, once I'm free from the shackles of work and join the unemployed later today, I'll be online to play gamesIs it Enemy Unkown or Within? Both amazing but Within is the 'upgraed' version
And that's why so many PS3 were sold, cheapest bluray player on the market!
For anyone interested in the Xbox One S, I made a video to help with decision making!
Hope this helps!
Great video thank you!
Personally I'm going to be one of those people waiting for 'Project Scorpio'
It will be interesting to see how much Microsoft will sell it for...

I never really gave either of them the time they deserved on my 360 (although the same could be said for Fallout 3/NV). So the plan is to play them as remastered games! And X-Com 2!
Yes Infinite was a great game - but at the same time I have no real interest in playing it again...or Skyrim!
@DeeKay86 disappointed you didn't unbox one tbh.
BO1 is my favourite Xbox game, I have 3 copies of it! Such a great gameI see COD Black Ops (1) is now backward compatible. Had a look in CEX and Game for a copy and funny enough, the price has now shot up to £18...
WWE2K16 is free on Games for Gold at the moment. It's not a great game.
