think i have a esp problem

went out last nite because it was a bit damp on the road i thought id test the esp when i went round a corner and floored it i think i saw a red light flashing in the display in between the two dials where the indicates flash is this normal if it is what does it mean dont know which sign it was because i didnt have chance to see it

that means that the esp was doing its job, the light flashes when it cuts in

Turn off the ESP and it will light up - Then turn it back on do it again and it should be that light that flashes - Very rarely need the ESP to kick into be honest - Had the car a year and its only done it once.

the esp light is orange i think the light that flased was red

I think when you switch the esp off.... near the door, it glows a constant orange. But when it gets involved ( horsing round a bend in the wet lol) it flashes red.

As people have said it flashes to warm you its active so slow down.
Switch it off and the light stay on tho warm you your safety electronics won't help you out.
