thinking about this roll cage, thoughts

Car  C63 AMG, F430 & 172
Im looking to get a roll cage for the clio, I either go balls out (making me skint) or just get the 10 point weld in (more than half the price)

here is the bawls out cage..i would need to mash the dash up to fit it and it will cost more too fit... but look at it!

The second cage is easy to fit and does not require the dash to be mashed up it is also more tha half the price..

Second one with welded in harness bars. Imagine the weight of the first one, overkill unless you plan on doing 120 through Delamere.....

thats what im thinking, but then im wondering if i would be driving round in it thinking "i should of just spunked the extra grand"

hmmm

Why the f**k am I driving for 7 hours if your fitting a b*****d cage???

plus your not driving all that way just for me, you said you had to get rid of that body in delamere forest?

Ben could you find me this style photo of the 10 point one?

I need one to give to my fabricator.

yeah from YB, tbh ive never had a problem with them, but my mate waited 6 months for some gloves and a wheel!

I got my last cage from them, i think if they have it in stock there ok lol!

I paid £402 inc postage - 10% paypal offer thing

2nd looks similar to what I've just put in my Mk1. I added a harness bar too across the rear diagonal.

Bang on 7 weeks from YB.

thats what i want to do, where did you get the extra bar from?

A fabby mate of mine, it's pretty ordinary 36mm steel tube, not the seamless stuff that the cage is made from. It's not going anywhere though.

Then I profiled the ends to suit and sit level.

Is there a smaller roll cage available without having too loose back seats and fairly simple to fit?

Thanks
