Welcome :)

Do you really need a anew car or do you just want a new one? I personally wouldn't want to spend that much on a Clio.

hi there , as above do you need a new car or just want one, I bought my mk3 around 3 years ago just because I wanted a new car and paid a similar amount and I wouldn't do it again not on a clio (unless it was a clio 197/200)

Hi,
Yeah the clio i have at the moment is an 04 plate, needs a lot of money spending on it.
I've started a daily commute to work too, so need somthing more reliable...
I understand they are asking a couple of hundred more than the valuation....

i don't have any experience of the 1.2 tce, but if the fuel consumption is anything like it is on my 1.4 then as you commute quite a distance everyday i would consider a dci and im sure the tax is only 30 quid a year ? someone please correct me if im wrong

The clios aren't too bad infact the mk3 I did a service on last week was very quiet, actually a very nice drive tbh.

The dcis are quiet when on motorways and dual carriage ways only thing you hear is road noise, the engine is smooth especially the 106 with the 6 speed gear box, and tbh easier to drive than the 1.2tce, mine gets 60mpg easily.

Ignore people that have put the concept in your head that diesels are noisy tractors that are slow and dirty,
