Thinking of changing

Had my clio 182 ff for a year now and getting a bit twitchy......had a test drive in a megane 225 with cup pack all very nice, different power delivery to the clio, the clio feels a lot more raw!

Been looking what's available and the megane trophy is at a decent price...

Has anyone traded up to a meagne and what were you experiences?

Or should I just stay put with the clio?

The 197 is also tempting but haven't had a test drive yet!

dont think the 197 will sway you to change imo , its either keep the clio or get the 225 if you gunna want a megane .

there are few ppl who've done the swap on here

New Megane is very tempting. Heard nothing but good things about them.

Seems to be a pretty natural step up from the 182, a fair few people have done it. I was considering it too, but I'm just not ready to give up the go cart feel of my lil clio!

Go cart feel never wears off. Depends what you do for most of your driving time. Could do with losing my missus half the time so can have some fun without her moaning.

Just went and had another look at the megane............and it looked even better then I remembered...it's the inferno red!

I then went down the road to see a silver 197 and it looked so plain.

Might just go for the 225 and see what happens

As of today at approximately 11:00 I took ownership of an 05 Inferno Red Megane 225 with Cup Pack and..............







It's the muts nuts!



The clio was great and I loved every minute but the megane..................





Different class! I've had a play with allsorts today.....porsche boxster, some saloon type mercedes, bmw 330i....... and come away smiling thinking I had done the right thing!
